I'm moving


I am updating links and whats not, but having separate accounts for my various blogs is annoying. I figured that I should move all my accounts into one supper account. Do the Matisse-y!

I don't know why I forgot that it was the early big name artist, who inspired me to play with the idea of collage. I 'd like to blame Alex Katz for his simplistic imagery and then Matisse for aggreeing with my sensibilities in color.

For those of you who don't know, Alex Katz is one of the lesser known Pop artist, who played along with Warhol back in the 70's [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Katz]. These are his images:

Me thinks 'cyan blue' must have been a popular color back in the 1940's. Or maybe Matisse was color blind and the blue is supposed to be brown.

One of Many Months done

Since the theme for this be-lated calendar is "Technicolor Flora", what better way to show color than with a tropical plant like, Tillandsia.
